Great News – New Phone System

We have changed our phone system, and this is what it means for our patients.

We now have call queuing which will inform you how many callers are ahead of you. In larger queues you will be given the option to select a call back from reception when you reach position 1 in the queue. Please be aware if you call from a withheld number the system will not be able to call you back.

We will go live with this system on Thursday 4th November from 10am.

From this time there will be a short period of inactivity where you will not be able to phone either surgery. The surgeries will remain open, and our clinical staff will still be able to call you if you have an appointment. If you need urgent assistance in this period, please contact NHS 111 online or call 111.

Remember rather than calling, you can use our online consultation facility on our website for non-urgent clinical issues and admin questions:  engage.gp/7987/portal

You can still order prescriptions via the NHS App or through your Systm Online account.

From the 4th of November you will still be able to dial the Asplands or Woburn phone numbers, but your call will be answered centrally by our staff.

When calling to speak to Dispensary, you will be able choose from Woburn or Asplands in the options given and please remember to let the team know where you want to collect any prescriptions.

All calls from this date will be recorded for training and monitoring purposes.
